How it works

Subscriptions are available for all directly integrated Shopify stores via Shopify Apps. App integrations are managed solely by the brand, but since subscriptions have a direct impact on customer orders and payments, you'll want to reach out to [email protected] before going live.

How to get started

Find a subscription app that suits your needs and refer to the app's installation guide. See the list of recommended Shopify subscription apps below.

Once installed, let Flaviar Checkout know you'd like to start offering subscriptions and we'll run tests to make sure it's compatible with Flaviar Checkout's integration.

Costs

Integrations are already included in the cost of your Flaviar Checkout subscription. You may be subject to regular fees charged by the subscription app of your choosing.

Flaviar Checkout does not cover any fees incurred from Shopify apps. We will charge all app fees back to your preferred payment method on file with Flaviar Checkout.

Subscribe & Save offerings

Many subscription apps provide a built-in ‘subscribe & save’ feature that offers discounts to customers who choose a subscription. However, these features are not compatible with our integration, as they alter the product’s SRP (Suggested Retail Price) rather than simply applying a discount.

To work around this, we can create a Shopify discount code that can be applied to first-time or reoccurring subscription orders. These discount codes will be billed weekly according to our chargeback policy.

Reminder: Any changes to the Suggested Retail Price (SRP) require prior approval from the retailer. Using any app, including subscription apps, to adjust the SRP without this approval is against our guidelines and may lead to additional fees to cover any discrepancies.
