Before launching
Go to Settings
Go to Notifications
Select Order confirmation
Select Edit Code
Search for the following text. This is what you’ll edit: We're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent.
Replace it with: This is a pre-order that is expected to ship [INSERT FULFILLMENT TIMING]. We will notify you when it has been sent.
Select Preview in the top right to make sure that your edits have been made properly.
Hit Save.
Once products are being fulfilled and the pre-order period is over, you’ll want to follow these same steps and replace the pre-order message with “We're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent.”
