Flaviar Checkout: How to edit Pre-Order confirmation emails

Below are step-by-step instructions for updating your order confirmation emails within your Shopify Admin before launching a new product as a pre-order. To check out our full Pre-order guide, please see here: How do I launch a pre-order on Flaviar Checkout?

Before launching your Pre-order product....

  • Go to Settings

  • Go to Notifications

  • Select Order confirmation

  • Select Edit Code

  • Search for the following text. This is what you’ll edit: We're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent.

  • Replace it with: Orders containing [INSERT PRODUCT NAME] are on pre-order and are expected to start shipping [INSERT FULFILLMENT TIMING]. We will notify you when it has been sent.

  • Select Preview in the top right to make sure that your edits have been made properly.

  • Hit Save.

Once the pre-order period is over, you’ll want to follow these same steps and replace the pre-order message with “We're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent.”
