Before launching your Pre-order product....
Go to Settings
Go to Notifications
Select Order confirmation
Select Edit Code
Search for the following text. This is what you’ll edit: We're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent.
Replace it with: Orders containing [INSERT PRODUCT NAME] are on pre-order and are expected to start shipping [INSERT FULFILLMENT TIMING]. We will notify you when it has been sent.
Select Preview in the top right to make sure that your edits have been made properly.
Hit Save.
Once the pre-order period is over, you’ll want to follow these same steps and replace the pre-order message with “We're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent.”
