1. Definition of a Kit

A Kit is defined as a single finished product (SKU) composed of multiple individual components, materials, and products.

  • Example: A customized gift box containing a bottle of spirits, glassware, branded merchandise, and a marketing insert.

2. Requesting Your Quote

To receive a project quote, a detailed request must be submitted, including a document with the following sections:

A. Project Description

Provide a granular, step-by-step breakdown of the assembly process. The more detail provided, the more accurate the labor estimate will be.

Example (Complex): "Build 50 wooden box kits. Requires box assembly, insertion of two wooden slats, placement of decorative straw, followed by a bottle, hat, signed cork, and signed photo. Finalize by sliding the lid into place."

Example (Simple): "Assemble 24 pre-built boxes. Insert one of each of the five spirit varieties into the box and apply a UPC sticker to the exterior."

B. Components & Inventory Intake

  • List the total number of unique pieces/SKUs per kit.

  • Specify how these components will arrive (e.g., palletized, bulk-packed, or pre-assembled).

  • Visual Documentation: Attach a photo, video, or physical sample of the desired final product.

C. Project Timeline

  • Component Arrival: Specify the date when all materials will be on-site. Kitting cannot begin until 100% of the components are received.

  • Ship Date: Specify the target date for the kits to begin leaving the warehouse.

D. Compliance & Labeling

  • UPC Requirements: Indicate if a new UPC barcode sticker is required for the exterior of the kit.
